The Remnant School of Ministry is a program established by Pat and Karen Schatzline, founders of Remnant Ministries International. Our goal and vision is to raise up students into full-time ministry. Our heart is to train students in every aspect of ministry while imparting the appropriate educational foundation through a well-rounded program. The Remnant School of Ministry provides strong academic plans for its students. From first hand ministry experience to courses designed from ministry by our staff professors. Our courses cover all areas of ministry including, but not limited to, Youth Ministry, Children’s Ministry, Music Ministry, Pastoral Ministry and Media Ministry.
The Remnant School of Ministry is a non-denominational, educational instrument devoted to equipping and training the ministers of tomorrow. The Remnant School of Ministry has teamed up with School of Urban Missions, Southwestern Assemblies of God University, and Berean School of the Bible to provide the educational base of RSOM. Combining the elite mentorship and hands on experience of RSOM with the remarkable curriculum of these four organizations RSOM offers an incredibly unique and effective training model.
While the evangelical ministry of Remnant Ministries International provides an incredible base for travel and evangelism across the nation and the world, in partnering with our home church, Christian Life Church, it has expanded the school’s base for our pastoral, evangelism, worship, missions, and media majors. In addition to our five majors, students attend weekly chapels, assist in community outreaches, work daily with church staff, and learn and perform cutting edge dramatic performances. Students that complete the two year curriculum at The Remnant School of Ministry will have the opportunity to work as a third year intern at Remnant Ministries International. After their third year, they may be selected to plant a Remnant School in one of the many pre-selected regions of the world under the covering of The Remnant School of Ministry in Birmingham, AL.
